Does SAP Enable Now Standard Task Tutorials switch automatically based on S/4HANA language settings?

When I switch the language in S/4HANA the SAP Enable Now help also switches but I note the Task Tutorials (sims) stay in English. How can you get them to switch or is it now possible?

Thanks]

Hi David,

by the way, there's a brand-new blog article about translation and Web Assistant: Translation and Fallback Language Options for SAP Enable Now Web Assistant

Take care and please mark this question as answered if this helped!

Hi David,

Web Assistant is able to determine the language of S/4HANA and then display content in that language if it exists. If no content exists in the language of the S/4HANA GUI, the fallback is to display the English version of the content. What's important is the Duplication Source field on the translated content, not the English content but the other languages, must specify the English version of the corresponding content object. It will do this automatically if you duplicate the English version of the content to create the other translated version(s). If this is the case, Web Assistant knows not to display the English version of the object because there is a version available in the S/4HANA GUI language.

Shane

Thanks John,

So in theory I could translate others but it would only be the step language converted and not the screens? For that I would have to re-record on the required language screens?

Thanks

That is correct. You can run this through the Machine Translation tool (if you have the license) but you would still have to do a re-record of the screen is the target language to get the "complete" picture.

Hi David,

Currently, the Task Tutorials are only available in English so that's how they will always display. The Getting Started tutorials are available in 9 languages: en-EN, de-DE, es-ES ,fr-FR, pt-BR, zh-CN, ru-RU, ko-KR, ja-JP.

Hope that answers your question and sorry it's not what you were looking for.
