For some of us the SAP Community started off way back in 2003/2004 as the SAP Developer Network (SDN). Later after the Business Objects Community and others merged together it became the SAP Community Network (SCN) - then in 2016 it simply became the SAP Community. I've personally seen a lot of changes to the environment over all these years but one thing has always remained constant - this is a place where you can come to ask questions, meet others and exchange knowledge. Well I started my path into the SAP way back in 2002/2003 when my company told me to learn it so I could install it when I cam back from my project in Germany. I'm sure some noticed the odd bit about that statement. Needless to say I dove in and as luck would have it, SAP had just launched their beta of a Community (SDN) so coming from a web application background I felt at home to go figure things out. @Former Member Was actually one of the first people who helped me to figure things out, my question asking left a lot to be desired as I had no clue about terminology or anything else in the SAP world. Then it was a post by @qmacro about RSS and RFC's that really got me more comfortable and then I just went crazy sharing my experiences and learnings via the blog posts. When I joined the SAP World in 2003 there was nothing like a "Community", at least not online. I learned the Netweaver 2004 the "hard way" which was - now looking backwards - a good starting point. Since these days the Marketplace, SDN or whatever was the name at that time, was was moved and renamed several times, my experience and knowledge remained and was growing.  Looking at this group now I see some 13xx members. Walking through the offices worldwide in all these companies I have been, I remember many more. Thousands for me, millions in the worldwide consultants-scene. All these consultants working every day with these products, inventing, loving and sometimes even complaining about and then improving implementations, there is so much  knowledge experience last but not least "wound fingers, tired eyes and hopes" that IT* "worx"...  It would be really helpful to share all this knowledge from the experienced consultants about their module and profession. The "do's and don'ts", anecdotes, helpful links and docs.  I would highly appreciate to wake up more of these day to day workers not only doing their next job, waiting to retire some day, extending the contract... ... but rather and also share, participate, give and let know. Just a few pages every year only. In January 2024, SAP updated the entire SAP Community platform, and the emails of new publications, questions and articles that you were subscribed to and received via email SAP Central Communication Service notification@sap.com (Example in the image below: "New blog post tagged: SAP Sales Cloud"), is no longer sent. In this blog, I will demonstrate how you subscribe to continue receiving community emails When logging in with your P-user on the SAP Community platform community.sap.com, in the right corner of the screen click on the person's icon > “My Content”. Then, on your profile, look for the option “My Settings”. In “Subscriptions and Notifications” you can configure how you want to be notified and what you want to subscribe to. For example, at the end of a community post, you will find “SAP Managed tags”, click on the tags you want to track and be notified by email. Just click on “Subscribe”. In “Subscriptions & Notifications” > “My Subscriptions”, you can list which tags you are subscribed to. In “Subscriptions & Notifications” > “Notification Settings”, it is important to review your Email Notifications to ensure that you will receive the email.
