Hello,

I am trying to run a query I wrote through the Free-Hand-SQL and everytime I get the same error message as below:

An internal error occured while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)

Please can you advise as to what can be done. Thank you.

Also, it would help to know what product and version are you using, what data source your report is using and if this has worked before etc...

It would be interesting to know if you have done any research on the issue and what you have found so far...

Unfortunately, this is a VERY generic error, so we need to have the information that Denis suggested.

Have you run your query in a tool like Toad or SSMS - something that lets you run and debug queries in your database? For Freehand SQL, that's where you should start - make sure that your query runs correctly and brings back the data you expect it to there before you add it to a report.
