As we wrap up 2022, I wanted to take a minute to share with you some enhancements to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits available with the 2H 2022 release that will make it easier to manage benefits eligibility for dependents.



Automation of Dependent Eligibility Change Processing


With this release, a new system configuration option allows administrators to automatically identify and unenroll dependents no longer eligible for insurance due to age. Automating the unenrollment process reduces the administrative effort required to monitor and process dependent eligibility changes, while lowering company costs by ensuring that only eligible dependents are enrolled in plans.



 

New benefits report to identify dependents ineligible for benefits


Additionally, a new report for SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics enables ineligible dependents to be identified in advance of their age-out date so that the appropriate Cobra notification can be sent.
