The T.Code for accessing webclient is crm_ic

Configuring IC WebClient involves the following 4 steps:

1 Define IC WebClient Profile

2 Define Framework Profile

3 Assign Framework Profile to IC profile

4 Assign IC WebClient Profile to your Org Unit

Step:1 - Define IC WebClient Profile

Menu Path: IMG -> CRM ->IC Web client-> Define IC WebClient Profile

· Select “DEFAULT – IDES” profile

· Right click to copy as

· Name your profile as Z_prof_### (where ### = your CRM-ID)

· Give description XYZ’S IC WEB PROFILE (where xyz = your name)

· Save

Step:2 Creating a IC – Webclient – framework

Menu Path:IMG -> CRM ->Interaction center Webclient-> Customer-Specific System Modifications -> Define IC WebClient Runtime Framework Profiles

· Enter DEFAULT in the Profile name box

· Left click at Exec Icon (or F8) to open up the XML editor for Default profile

· Copy XML code in Clipboard (Contrl + C)

· Go one step back to the screen to select profole name

· Enter your new framework profile name as Z_FRAME_###

· Now select “Exec” (F8)

· Select option to create new object and paste the XML code you have the clipboard (Contrl + v)

· Enter Description (Your names’s Web-client framework)

· Save it.

Step:3 Assign Framework to your IC Profile

Menu Path: IMG -> CRM ->Interaction center webclient-> Define IC Webclient Profile

· Select your IC web client profile

· Make sure to set the change mode to edit the profile

· Select Z_frame_## from drop down

· Change the name to Z_FRAME_###

· Save

Step: 4 Assign your IC Profile to your Org Unit

Menu Path: SAP Menu-> Interaction Center ->  Supporting Processes-> IC Structure -> Change Organization and Staffing

· Select your Org unit : Double Click

· Goto in the Menu Bar - Detail Object - Enhanced Object

· Select Webclient Profile

· Create Infotype

· Select Z_prof_## from pull down menu

Hi,

all the stuff regarding copying xml is related to CRM4.0 version, if you are using 5.0 version then all this is done automatically and you wont have to do any copy paste with xml...

just copy as you do with others...

hi thanks a lot

you solved my persistent problem.

now i can able to create the web client profile and got the screen too

now i concentrated on customising of buttons.

it will be great help for me if you extend your cooperation in the coming days

by the way could you tell me is there any external or internal integrations (hardware or software) required for web client,

and why these SAP phone, CTI,BSP in Interaction centre

Like in winclient can we create and and asigh the Title for the profile

Thanks and Regards,

sampath

SAP phone, CTI are for enabling telephony functions in webclient.

BSP is the view part or the UI of the webclient,

by editing the BSP you can change the content and look & feel of the webclient page.

for e.g. if you want to, say, create a new text field on the webclient page, then by editing the proper BSP you can change it to add your custom field.

Thanks,
