How to delete custom table oldtypecode data

Hi All, I have changed new typecode for custom existing table now problem is coming in backoffice and I am trying to delete old data from oldtypecode table but not able to delete Can anyone suggest what I should do?

Hybris doesn't allow any modifications in table in case of a type removal. You can change the type for attribute using Redeclare keywords in items.xml but tables typeCode can not be reflected, in your case you have to follow below mentioned steps:

• Create a new table with required typeCode in items.xml

• Migrate your all data content of the old table into this new table

• Delete the Old table

Note: Do not forget to Clean up this Orphaned table from system using hac as mentioned in the below steps: Cleaning All Orphaned Types

• Open Administration Console.

• Go to the Maintenance tab and select Cleanup option.

• The Cleanup page in the Type system tab displays.

• Ensure both check boxes are selected and click the Clear all orphaned types button

  Now your Orphaned types is removed

What is the reason you want to change the typecode? If it is unavoidable, you can create a new itemtype with your new typecode and migrate your old itemtype to the new one. Once done, you can delete the old table using SQL and cleanup the old itemtype from hAC.
