Hi everyone,
I am trying to transfer the customers from R/3 (4.7) to CRM (5.0).
For some of the customers I am receiving the following error:
Geocoder SAP0: Country specification is incomplete (Customizing) - GEOCODING002
The customers related with the error belongs to some custom-defined-country (ZKK).
I checked all the customization steps related with countries but couldn't find the reason.
The geocoding customizations are exactly the same between two systems.
Has anybody come across such a problem before?
Thanks in advance...

Hi,
I assume that customizing for Geocoding was performed only in R/3 system
The error message you mentioned is produced by CRM validation process,
which means that in CRM these countries are included into geographic
location determination on CRM side, when BP is received.
You have to maintain data for these countries in CRM system as well.
The note 32449 has the information on where to find the geo codes
you need and hopefully all the countries you should need to update.
The maintenance for the geodata of the new created geodata can
be done via customizing (Transaction SPRO) under "general settings"->
"Setup Geocode" -> "process geographical data for countries".
Also have a look at the note 613647.
Warm regards,
Smita.

Hi,
First establish an RFC connection from the client where the error occurs to the delivery client 000 (for more information, see transaction SM59).
Then compare the tables GEOT005, GEOT005S, TTZ5 and T005 between the two clients.
Call transaction SM30 and enter the view V_GEOT005 for the table GEOT005, the view V_GEOT005S for the table GEOT005S and the view V_TTZ5 for the tables TTZ5 and T005.
Choose "Maintain". In the menu bar, choose "Utilities" and then "Adjust".
In the dialog box that appears, select the RFC connection (using the F4 help) to the previously created 000 client (delivery client) and select "Choose". In the next dialog box "Verify Fields to be Compared", choose "Continue" (green checkmark). The system displays a list that contains the relevant entries from the table of the client in which you are logged on and the entries from the table of the delivery client.
To transfer the values, go to the "Edit" menu option and under "Selection", choose "Select all". After you select the entries, you can choose "Adjust" to carry out the comparison.
Then choose the menu option "Edit", followed by "Adjust" and "Copy all entries".
If you then double-click on "Back", a dialog box is displayed, informing you that the data has changed and asking you whether you want to save. Confirm this and then check whether the values were transferred correctly.
Save the result.

I will not use geocoding in CRM, so it is enough that I get rid of the problem.
I checked the customizing related with geocoding both in CRM and R/3.
It seems they are the same.
I went through note 553073 and did the adjusting.
The result didn't change.
The country ZKK is defined in T005 in CRM, it has a unique ISO code.
Any other ideas?
Hi,
In case the geo coding checks have to be turned off, the report GEOCODING_SET_GEOFLAG can be run in this system. This system will disable the geo services in the system(CRM). This should solve your problem.
Let me know in case you need some more information and Hope this helps.

Sudheer.
