Transport Request not created while creating Valuation Types (Split Valuation)

Hi,

I have created two new Valuation Types (in Split Valuation) and activated them

On save, it could not ask for Transport Request.

I don't know why? Now how to move the changes to Quality & Production Client?

1. Do I need to create Transport Request Manually and transport it to QA & Production

2. Or we need to create this individually both in QA & Production, sounds stupid?

Please note, Split Valuation was already configured in the System.

Please guide.

we need to make this  setting client wise. we are folloeing the same practice. Transport request will not be generated for the Same.

You can Make transport Request in Main Screen click on Definitions and Transport, it will ask for new request check the below screen shot

Hi PK,

It will not auto create . Check the header tabs - there is an option to create the CR .

3 yr back i tried this . I think the below screen show is showing correct(answer by Shiva).

Answers it is possible and need to do as mentioned.

Its suggested to create the valuation types individually based on each client in SAP.(DEV,QA,PRD)

Dear Mallinath,

Its not the correct way. If you have 2 clients in QA and 3 clients in DEV and 1 client in PRD you create will you configure it 6 times ?

If you have any back up document to substantiate your points - please provide.

Yes you need to do to avoid inconsistencies at last time, you will not able to know what had been copied through SCC1 or transfer the request from STMS
