What is the procedure to create a Transaction Code

Use tcode <b>SE93</b> to create ....

use Tcode SE93 and give the Name of the TCODE and press the create button, in the next screen you choose the Radio Button Selection Screen and report and give your report name and save the TCODE.

Steps:

1. GO TO T. Code SE93.

2. Enter the desired T.Code ( starting with Z ).

3. Enter the sort text ( Description )

4. Select the desired radio button option for start object. e.g. Selection screen

program

5. Enter the referance Program name which u want to execute via this T. Code

6. Save teh entries.

Hi Megan,

Please check the following steps to create a transaction code.

1) Goto transaction SE93

2) Give the name of the transaction and click on CREATE

3) Give the transaction description of short text

4) Select radio button Program and Selection screen (report transaction)

5) Give the report name against Program

6) Check SAPGUI for HTML, SAPGUI for Windows under GUI Support tab

7) Click on SAVE button and Activate.

Megan,

Some more info besides the above posts.....

To create T-Code, use the t-code SE93.

press Create, then u vl be asked to select to which type of object you are assigning it.

If u r creating a t-code to a report means, u have to select 'Program and selection Screen' Option,

for Dialog programs 'Program and Screen' option

for variant transaction 'Transation with variabnt'.

Hi Megan ,

Transaction code can be created from SE93 . Based on the object for which you want to assign the transaction code (Report, Dialog program etc) select that particular radio button .
