Upgrade DB2 on Java

Hello,

On your lanscape, BO 4.2 is installed on a Netweaver 7.3 base (database DB2 version for this BO system is 9.71). Unlike the ABAP (BW) stack, the Java version does not seem to support DB2 version 11.5 ?

Can you confirm this non-compatibility, if so, is it necessary to upgrade SAP...?

Could you please explain what does it mean that you have BO 4.2 installed on Netweaver and what relevance does BO has to DB2 and Netweaver compatibility ?

Hello Julian,

Yes you are correct, to run DB2 Version 11.5 you will need to upgrade to a Netweaver 7.5 base.

For our EHP6 systems, we need to upgrade DB2 v10.1 to DB2 v11.5, do you know if we need to upgrade EHP6 to EHP8 for compatibility issues or EHP6 is compatible with DB2 v11.5 ?
