Text to UUID data incompatible issue

Dear all,

I followed the tutorial "Check Status of Process from SAP Build App" written by daniel.wroblewski.

Then I encountered an issue as per below:

I have followed the tutorial until STEP7:

STEP 7 Create logic to retrieve status

4. For the Get record flow function:

Resource name: Set to Workflow Information.

id: Click the binding icon and set the field to Data item in repeat > current > processId

When I try to set the id, I encounter the incompatible data type issue, please refer to screen shot for detail.

I try to use STRTOUUID(repeated.current.processId) formula, however the STRTOUUID is an unknown function.

Need some advice on this issue. Thanks.

My fault ... let's start over.

You can instead bind with a formula: repeated.current.processId

Don't mind that the formula editor throws an error.

P.S.: Previously I was able to do it with "Data item in repeat" since the ID field is a straight text field. It shows as Text in the data resource but not sure why it has changed.

We recently change the tutorial to use retrieve action -- since we are retrieving information -- instead of create and to import the schema. But this overrode the schema of the ID field -- which was text previously -- and now became UUID. I will fix the tutorial. thanks.

I have tested, the result is same. As you can see as per below screen shot, in fact, I have cancelled all the 4 workflow instance.

However, it is still showing running.
