Application Modeler: Failed to load specification: TypeError [ERR_INVALID_ARG_TYPE]: The "path" argu

Hi Fiori product team, I'm facing error: Application Modeler: Failed to load specification: TypeError [ERR_INVALID_ARG_TYPE]: The "path" argument must be of type string. Received undefined Check the status in Output or Application Info.

Output error: 

2026-09-08 11:17:51.651 [error] AppFolders: Error storing search cache: TypeError [ERR_INVALID_ARG_TYPE]: The "data" argument must be of type string or an instance of Buffer, TypedArray, or DataView. Received undefined.

This issue happened like 2ds ago, I guess the latest 2 version (1.32.0 and previous) have bugs.

VS Code version: 1.136.1 

Nodejs version: v24.19.0

I had the same error on macos, and diving into the issue I found that it was a corrupted cache of the ui5 libraries.

I fixed it locally with the following terminal command:

After that, the plugin is working again for me.
