Support backbone update for managed systems

Hi All,

I went through SAP documentation which talks about SAP Support backbone update for solman 7.2. Let me know if all the steps given in the below URL have to be performed in the managed systems as well.

Hi Vishwanath

Based on your SAP version have you completed the Preparation, Prerequisites and notes assistance in this guide. then you will get the SAP_BASIS_CONFIG_OSS_COMM using the transaction code STC01. On my experience you have to read the guide more then 3 to 5 time then you can define the steps based on your SAP version.

Hi Sriram,

Yes that has been done. We are actually running into an issue now when creating RFC's from STC01. The connection test is failing with below error

Connect to /H/<router at customer site>/S/3299/H/<SAProuter>/S/3299/H/apps.support.sap.com:443 failed: NIEROUT_PERM_DENIED(-94)

Do we have to maintain any entries in saprouttab.

When i directly try to connect our sandbox environment with apps.support.sap.com, it works. But the routing is denied through the router I believe. Please assist.
