SSO With External URL using Post

Hi,

We are trying to achieve SSO for an external URl based application which is developed in asp and the login form looks Post the two userid and password fields to login.asp

We created a URL based iview on EP6 SP9 which points to this URL http://<Company>/login.asp.

Also, We created a HTTP system "xyz" which has

Authentication Method = Post

Authentication Type = Server

and uses the same login.asp URL as above in iview.

Now, when we assign this "xyz" system to the Iview with Post, we get an error message saying the fetchmode has to be Server and when we make the fetch mode "server" we just get a blank page.

Can anyone help us on this? Thanks a lot in advance

Thanks for your reply. It is really helpful.

Today I tried with SP12 portal and still the same result that is blank page when I do post and Fetch Method Server Side.

I will try with App. Integrator and let you know.
