Hi,
I am new to Solution Manager environment.
While through the documentation, I am stuck with the terminology "Satellite System".
Please help me in understanding the technology.
Thanks in advance.

Request clarification before answering.
A satellite system is simply a system being managed by Solution Manager. For example, if you had a development system, a QA system, a production system and a Solution Manager system, the development, QA and production systems are "satellite" systems to the Solution Manager system.

Steven,
Thanks for the reply.
So, can I understand the Satellite System this way:
Solution Manager is the Central System (Parent), and the all the other mySAP Suite of Products (CRM, SCM, SEM, ECC etc) are the clild systems and connected to Solution Manager for configuration and monitoring.
One more question:
Do we have the Development, Quality, Testing and Production clients existing for Solution Manager even as the other systems?
Thanks,
Balaji
hello gurus,
Please share your experience from your projects regarding the Solution Manager. What can be the landscape?
I would appreciate and request you to share any implmentation methodologies, and guides etc. (Have downloaded the docs from the service marketplace).
Steven,
Thanks for the inputs.
Thanks in advance.
