SAP HANA Studio : standalone or eclipse plugin

Hello, 

I am wondering what is the better option to use SAP Hana studio. 

Shall I install it via eclipse as an add-on or install in standalone mode. I have read that SAP doesn't maintain anymore SAP HANA Studio standalone, is it true? Which solution is regularly updated and patch ?

whatever the option, note that HANA Studio is deprecated.

For HANA Administration, you should use HANA Cockpit instead.
For HANA Development, you should use Business Application Studio instead.

... this is only possible if you have modern SAP-cloud-version (for BAS) and a separate server with HANA cockpit installed
