Hello,
I am wondering what is the better option to use SAP Hana studio.
Shall I install it via eclipse as an add-on or install in standalone mode. I have read that SAP doesn't maintain anymore SAP HANA Studio standalone, is it true? Which solution is regularly updated and patch ?
Thanks in advance,

whatever the option, note that HANA Studio is deprecated.
For HANA Administration, you should use HANA Cockpit instead.
For HANA Development, you should use Business Application Studio instead.

Nowadays, you should go for eclipse and install the plugins to have the latest version. This bring back HANA and ABAP into one IDE.

Hi
It doesn't matter which way you go, but doing it the Eclipse + Update site (https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#bw) way is the easiest and fastest, as there is no need for HANA Studio to be downloaded from SAP.
In both cases the ADT and BW Modeling Tools add ons can be updated to the recent versions. Regarding the delivery schedule, check the SAP Note:
