HI Experts,

I have installed BO Enterprise 3.0 on one server. Then I configured SAPjco file as per SAP integration kit - installation guide.

Now when i am trying to access :

Application -> Authentication -> SAP

in CMC, I am getting error "The requested resource (/SAP/jsp/auth/sapsec_logsys.faces) is not available".

Please help on this.

Rishit

Hi,

which version of SAP Jco did you install? Where exactly did you copy the files into? What is your O/S? Is this a 64 or 32 bit version?

Hi..

Jco version: 2.1.8

path: C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\server\lib ( Not getting Shared folder..might be bcoz of server)

Also librfc32.dll and sapjco.jar copied in windows/system32 folder.

OS : windows server 2003 and 32-bit

Hi

please copy sapjco.jar into C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\common\lib

and only the DLL files into c:\windows\system32 ( I guess you did this, but you mentioned that you copied the .jar file in there also)

Restart the Tomcat and try again.

Hi,

there are 2 DLL files in the Jco connector package. Did you copy both?

Can you see an "SAP" entry in the authentication drop-down list when you start the CMC login screen?

Please do the following:

1 Stop the tomcat

2. Go to C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\WebApps

3. Remove there the following directories:

InfoViewApp

InfoViewAppActions

CmcApp

CmcAppActions

OpenDocument

dswsbobje

PartnerPlatformService

SAP

4. Restart the Toimcat and wait until the directories you removed are automatically created.

Is the SAP entry visible now?

Hi..

In Path:

C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\WebApps

I didn't found SAP directories. And instead of PartnerPlatformservice i found Platformservice directory.

Then also i follow your steps but still not get SAP in drop-down list.

Ok. It seems that the int.Kit was not correctly installed. Can you consider uninstalling the int.Kit and installing it again? Select the option to deploy the web files automatically during the installation.

HI,

it seems that the Tomcat installation is somehow broken. Can you consider removing BOE and installing it again? Please remove also the tomcat service and mysql if they are still visible in the Windows Services panel after uninstalling BO. YOu can use for this the instsrv.exe utility (you can download this from Micorsoft). Remove after that also any remaining files under C:\Programs\Business Objects.

Regards,

Stratos

PS Do not forget to copy the Jco files correctly prior to installing the int.Kit

Hi,

just proceed with the installation. You have already installed the Java Connector files before starting the installation of the int.Kit.
