regarding SLD

Hello,

Why do we require to register our componants with SLD.

what is TS and BS.

for example i am foing to use File to Idoc scenario, then how many TS and BS need to create.

SLD is an databse which recognizes all the systems present in the landscape when you register it with it...XI Is an client and SLD is server...so XI will check with the SLD for existence of systems....

technical system will be always one for any type of systems but it can have any number of the Business represents of that TS.
