Netweaver 7.3 installation: error during "Install Java Engine"

Hi,

I´m triying to install the Application Server Java for Netwaver 7.3 (new installation on a Windows Server 2012). Everything procede well until the "Install Java Engine" where I receive the following error:

The problem is similar to this , but in my case:

1) the error code is 8

2) the database is MSSQL 2008 R2 (included in the installation packages) and not Oracle

Hi Valerio,

can you paste the jvm_bootstrap.out file from the sapinst directory.

Also do check the Database is up or not.

Sorry but as I told before I have no jvm_bootstrap.out file. I checked and the Database is up (I mean otherwise all previous steps about creating and filling database would fail).

In Log it is taking old (-Xmx256M) please do clean logs directory and start with fresh installation.

I did as suggest but the SDTServer.log use always -Xmx256M. Are we sure that the control.xml is the write place where to set this value???
