LMS Implementation steps

Hello,

Please give us links or steps to implement Learning Management solutions in sap portal as I am unable to find in sdn.

You should have the LSOFE component in the ABAP stack, it contains HCM_LEARNING bsp. create and BSP iview pointing to HCM_LEARNING\leso.htm

If you want to use content player you should deploy the java component using SDM or JSPM then fill the urls in the customizing event management -> learning solution.

Also you can install a Java desktop application calls Authoring Enviroment to create content. , create a repository, could be a KM repository and register the url of the repository in the customizing.

Hi

You need to have following components.

LSOFE on ABAP stack

LSOAE (Authoring Environment) an .exe to be installed on local client.

LSOOP (Offline Player) an .exe to be installed on local client.

Can you please tell me procedure how to find and install the components mentioned by you.It would be great if you can share configuration document completely.

Just search for LSO* in service market place and you will get all the requisite packages.

You also need LSOCP(content player) for LMS.
