Delete Transaction Code

Hi all,

I accidentally created a dialog transaction instead of a report transaction, to start a report.

First I deleted the transaction, and created a report transaction of the same name. Then I transported to acceptance, but no effect: the transaction in acceptance is still the old dialog transaction.

Then I deleted the new dialog transaction in test, and transported a request for that deletion. No effect: the transaction still exists in acceptance.

Now I've created a report transaction with an other name, and this one works.

Still, I would like to clean up the faulty transaction. Does anyone know how?

you get the points.

you are right, the transport shows an export error. It says it hasn't found the object flagged for deletion in the target system.

There you go. Anytime you have problems with transporting objects, remember to check the transport logs first. This will probably point you in the right direction.
