Hi all,
I accidentally created a dialog transaction instead of a report transaction, to start a report.
First I deleted the transaction, and created a report transaction of the same name. Then I transported to acceptance, but no effect: the transaction in acceptance is still the old dialog transaction.
Then I deleted the new dialog transaction in test, and transported a request for that deletion. No effect: the transaction still exists in acceptance.
Now I've created a report transaction with an other name, and this one works.
Still, I would like to clean up the faulty transaction. Does anyone know how?
Request clarification before answering.
You should be able to delete the transaction code from the development system, transport it, and it should be gone in the next system. If not, check the transport logs.

Thanks Rich,
you get the points.
you are right, the transport shows an export error. It says it hasn't found the object flagged for deletion in the target system.

As a side note...
changing the transaction type can be done through SE93 without deleting & recreating a TCODE..
IN se93 come in change mode & choose the menu option...Edit --> transaction type....& then coose the correct type ...
To the original question...the deletion of the T-CODE in test system along with the transport to the subsequent system should remove the tcode from the target...Could you check the whether the transport request was imported successfully in the target system ?
Thanks,
Renjith.
