Calculation View Input Parameter does not prompt in Tableau

Hello Experts,

I am trying to query a calculation view with input parameters in Tableau but the Input parameter does not prompt.

I have total 8 input parameters still I don't get the prompt.

When I query it from HANA Database Explorer I get no issue.

The user which I use has SELECT, SELECT METADATA access to the calculation view.

HANA Version: 2.0 SPS 04

Tableau Version: 2021.4.2

Does someone already faced this issue?

Make sure the DB user that connects to HANA not only has access to the calculation view (in the HDI container schema) but also to the shared BIMC views in the _SYS_BI schema (note: this is a different schema than the _SYC_BIC schema. _SYS_BIC should play no role when the calculation views are created in WebIDE).

Hi Komei,

The knowledge base says that the user used to connect to tableau should have access to _SYS_BIC schema. I think this is related to XS classic in which all the calculation view resides in _SYS_BIC schema. In our case the calculation view is in different schema as we are using XSA. Also, to be on safer side, I have given user access to _SYS_BIC schema.
