Control who appears in org chart

Right now we have payroll employees (regular full time) in SuccessFactors but we are looking to have our non payroll temps (contractors, consultants, agency temps) part of LMS module so they can complete trainings and since org details carry over from BizX side, we were thinking of having them there so LMS org fiekds are not blank.

1. Is there a way to have these folks who are currently not on UDF to be in bizX?

2. If yes, will they show up in org chart or can we hide them? We have managers who have over 20 non- payroll temps so we would not want to clutter org chat.

a) if they will show up in org chart, can we customize to differentiate them maybe with color tile or a filter on the org chart page to filter on employee type?

Hi Gi, this may not solve the issue, but we do have our contractors in SF with a BizX profile. We used to use full contingent profiles, but we then moved to Fieldglass. The only way I found to hide was mark the profiles as Is Contingent = Yes, and then exclude them in the org chart. The problem is that it looks like the exclude contingent option goes with the new org chart. There is an enhancement request in, but I don't know if they will be able to do anything. Definitely an issue for us too

We had something similar but we had implemented it using the concept of External Users but since SAP doesn't recommend that approach, you will need to have the employees in SuccessFactors.

you said you implemented something similar - is it working as expected? we were going to use IAS and user connector to LMS but we may want them on bizX side. Do you have them on bizX side showing in org chart?

On the context of showing up in the Org Chart, do you have Contingent Workforce featured turned on? Under Manage Employee Central Settings page -> there is an option where when you turn on the switch, you can control if they are visible or not.
