How to capture licence data for contingent workers?

I'm interested in how other businesses capture licence details for contingent workers?

We are currently using the 'work permit' portlet to capture all licence details (drivers licence, high risk, working at heights etc) and this restricts us in adding data for contingents, although it is a requirement for us to capture and maintain this data.

Interested to hear how other companies are managing their licence data 🙂

According to the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central documentation, you can use the Contingent Workf...¹.

To capture license details for contingent workers, you can use the Contingent Worker Licensing featu...². This feature allows you to capture and maintain license details for contingent workers, including dr...².

So most of my customers at least put the permits and documents in either the work permits portlet or some external tool if that is available. For the other details they either add fields in work order / job info, but in most cases they prefer to maintain and review it in their external workforce system (i.e. Fieldglass, Beeline etc.).
