I do believe the simulator doesn't do it, but did you try using manage time off calendars for it --> New Calendar --> Period end processing? If you want to redo it later, you could change 1 / a few time accounts back again via manage data

Well deduplication by default is not possible in Canvas/ORD sadly.The only fix will be in identifying what is causing the duplicate and finding a way to filter there (which will likely be difficult and may be easier in Excel).
