Introduction
In the 4 recordings below we show some very useful Excel features or functions for SuccessFactors administrators and implementation partners.
#1- Always keep leading 0 in any file downloaded from SuccessFactors

#2- VLOOKUP to identify Supervisors without Supervisors (or doing other complex data checks between files).

- COUNTIF and SUMIFS functions can also be useful, an example of SUMIFS can be found at the bottom of this blog in the "Hints for Automation" section (click on excel link).
- The same can be done for SECOND_MANAGER and MATRIX_MANAGER columns (NO_MANAGER mandatory value doesn't exist in those columns and is replaced by a blank).
- If we want to identify which users are Heads of Hierarchy we can then VLOOKUP a report on Team Size created in Adhoc report > Employee Details domain against the outcome of the recording. See screenshot here.
