Reverse backflush issue

We have a CO production order for which the material is backflushed.Observed that movement type 131 has happened for the material.It is also observed that 531 and 261 movement types has also happened for some materials.How is the flow normally and how does it happen?The user was trying to reverse the backflush document when he faced the issue for a material saying deficit of stock in sloc.Can somebody explain the flow of this process and how these movement type like 131,531 and 261 appear while backflushing and what propbably could be the issue while reversing the document

Hello Nevin,

Depending upon your master data setup (material,BOM, routing & backflush) along with REM Profile settings, system will post relevant documents with corresponding movement types.

Like GR with 131, Goods Issue with 261 & Byproduct with 531. Check REM Profile settings in SPRO.

With reversal of backflush, below things happen in system:

- GR is reversed and the accompanying material document and full

backflushing document are indicated as cancelled.

- Goods issues for the components are reversed, that is, the component quantities are

posted back.

- The activities are reversed.

- Depending on your settings in the repetitive manufacturing profile, the system either creates a planned order for the reversed quantity or the system does not create a planned order in which case the planner has to check the situation.

Please check & revert what exactly error/issue you're getting during backflush reversal.

Thanks for the quick response.while reversing the document using mfbf there was an error mentioing that there is a deficit of stock in sloc.While reversing the backflush the goods movement should be reversed automatically keeping th stock back to sloc.Dont know why this error is occuring.Can you assist.Thanks
