Printer error

Hi,

I got a mail from the user that he is getting the below error while trying to print smartforms.

Any idea how to resolve this ?

No disrespect but if this is your job to assist users with such issues (otherwise why would they be contacting you?) then isn't it reasonable to expect to make at least a little bit of effort before posting a question on SCN and share the results of your analysis?

quynh.doanmanh Actually, The user mailed it to the functional consultant, who in turn forwarded the mail to me. They both work at the client location, whereas I dont. They do have a printer there, but unfortunately I have never come across this kind of an error so that is why I posted it. So is there anything specific that I need to ask them ?

obviously you have to ask them what the error told you: Is there a printer with the name 'Zebra...' or not, i havent seen such a printer name like that before.

you can also go to SPAD tcode for the output device.

(just search Zebra over internet, it's a trademark like HP, Lexmark, etc.) Anyway SPAD is the solution to find the list of existing output devices. By the way, there are many SAP notes about "device does not exist".

sandra.rossi : I mean printer name with space inside, i dont know SAP accept that kind of name or not, usually i see it as LOCL, LP01...so i suggested him to check SPAD first.

I think OutputDevice should be ZDOT not Zebra barcode printer.
