Automatic batch creation error

Dear all,

• I have customized (CORY) to create automatic batch creation while creating process order,
• I have done classification setting also in material master.
• But still its showing material is not handled by batches.
• kindly clarify

Dear all,

I was not able to select Batch management in work scheduling(Material master).

It showed display error.

The batch management requirement cannot

be changed for the following reasons:

Stocks already exist at plant level.

Material		Plnt    SLoc
565602I		1000    0003

Rajasekaran,

you can not activate batch management until you clear all existing stock and reservations in system.

remove the stock from the system then activate the batch management in Material master and then bring back the stock.

Hi Raja,

Check the below link... you need to remove the stock of that material and all the open process orders, material documents and others if any...
