Hi all,
Following codes are expected to be alpha-numeric. Customer, Vendor, Project & Company Code. Vendor to canf this is possible.

Yes u can created alpha numeric codes for the same.
Co code is a one time activity but for vendor/customer/project, the no assigment should be external.
