Does an aggregation task write into any table?

I would like to track and document my steps at a technical level as much as possible. Does anyone know if an aggregation task, specifically task 2050, writes to a table? The SAP HELP page for this topic mentions the table /DMF/OOSCHANGE. Could it be that task 2050 collects all the transaction data that is aggregated by task 2050 and task 3050 then accesses this table, calculates the appropriate percentage value, and sends it to the BI_SALES table?

Hello Domenic,

If you enter the customizing for the aggregation task you want to examine, lets take 2050 as you state, you can find the aggregation level that is used by the task under the "Aggregation Control" segment.

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide->SAP Customer Activity Repository->POS Data Management->POS Inbound Processing->Tasks->Two-Step Processing->Define Aggregation Task

For Task 2050 it uses "Aggregation Level" 0050.
You can then find additional information regarding this information here:

Simply select aggregation level 0050 and navigate through the dialog structure on the left side of your screen. The first folder in this structue is "Database Tables for Aggregate Records", here you can see what tables data is written to and stored in. In the case of aggregation level 0050, the tables accessed are:

- /POSDW/DMF_AGGR0
- /POSDW/DMF_AGGR1

You can see the data in these tables by either:
- Transaction code S416N > insert tables listed above
- HANA Studio - YourDataBase > Catalog > CAR Schema name (SAPHANADB most likely) > Tables > filter/find the tables listed above.
