text elements

HI Experts,

There is report with text symbols and selection texts under one request

I want to move only text elements in a separate request.

How can we do this?

Selection Texts and TExt Symbols are Part of TEXT ELEMENTS of a report, they are identified as a single entity by SAP in a transport request (Type LIMU object REPT in TADIR). So if they both are in the same request, you cannot seperate them (unless you release one request for selection texts and the new request created for text symbols)

Hi Ravi,

Goto SE10 and create a new request.

Now open the Task request of text elements and copy the corresponding objects to the new request.

Now the new req is ready to be released and transported.

Hi

Go to T-Code SE01 and create Manual workbanch request.

<b>Program ID = LIMU

Object Type = REPT

Object Name = your Program name for which Text symbol you want to store in a request.</b>
