Hi,
Ask for the template of the functional specification from your TL or PL....... With the help of that template,
you can easily prepare the technical specification.
I guess no will help you more than this from SCN........
usually, we need to interpret the logic, used tables, structures, etc. also error messages etc....
in the tech spec.

hey,
TS are to be supplied within company internal only
it is not to float it outside
and if you are having the program then what is the problem to create it
just asking the functionality of the prgram from the functional people
and try to incorporate with the code of the program so that you can make the TS easily.
with regards

There are some standard format for Tech. Spec. for every specific project. You can get it from anybody from your team, who have prepared TS before.
You can not get it here.

Hi
Generally Each Company and each Project(Client) will have their own Functional Specifications and Technical Specification Templates.(Provided by clients)
In General Functional Consultants will fill up those templates with relevant data and send to their leads and after to the tech team.
