Hello All,

I have made a Report & a new Transaction Code for the same. Just after creating TCode, no other users were able to use it apart from mine. And later on; I transported it also. But still no other user is able to access the respective TCode. Kindly explain the consequences that can be handled or Pleaseeeeeeee let me know the exact procedure of Transporting the TCodes or Programs or any other SAP Objects.

Also if you have any documents regarding the same kindly send across to "shaikfarooqhussain@gmail.com"

Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards.

Farooq

Hi Farooq,

Any error message given when other users are executing the TCode. Post that error message... so that some thing can be known by that error message.

While creating the TCode, did you assign any authorization object for it?

If yes, just check the TCode by removing or changing the authorization object.

Ramesh S

Hi,

Did u specified some authorization object while creating the transaction.

This might be possible that the other users dont have authorizations to view the tcode.

When other users try using the tcode, whats the msg or error that comes up.

Please let me know abt it so tht I can help u.

Regards,

Himanshu.

Hi,

Most probably you are assigned with sap_all and sap_new profiles so you are able to execute the tcode.

The other users are not assigned with sap_all so they are not able to execute this.

For the roles assigned to the users who are expected to execute the said tcode check for an authorization onject named s_tcode . Here add the said tcode.

Check the roles for these users via su01.

Open the corresponding roles via PFCG in edit mode.

Go to authoriation tab and open it for editing

Press Ctr+F and search for object s_tcode and search

Add the tcode in the s_tcode obj.

Else click insert manually button and insert the object s_tcode and add the said tcode.

This will work.

Dont forget to award points if resolved.

Regards

No I mentioned nothing, no Authorization object or anything else... While others try to open that TCode, the message is <b>"You are not authorized to use the transaction code ZMM04"</b>.

Thanks

hi,

Please use the transaction SU53 to check for the other users the authority objects and the reason for the error message. After you read the list check for the missing objects in roles. According your last reply "You are not .. ZMM04" i assume this is a problem with the authority object S_TCODE in a role. Manas described how to change a role and add the new transaction code. If you are not sure what to do or how: Ask staff who are using often PFCG and assigning roles to users.

If you have a 4.6 system: use path:

Tools-Administration-User Maintenace-Information System

Here you will find a lot of reports to find/compare roles/authorization objects for Users, Roles, profiles for the missing object you found via SU53.

Rgds,
