Spool Printing

hi

I have a requirement where i need to print the spool.

The report program is run in the backgound, and hence, a spool is created for the list output.

If i run the program in the foreground, i get the list output of width 400 characters.

However, If i see the spool generated when the program is run in the background, i see only the first 255 characters for each line. The other information is truncated.

I tried using standard page size 400, but it does not work.

Could you please suggest something that would avoid the truncation , when printing the spool ?

or

Is there a way where the truncated information can be displayed on the next page in the list ?

Any pointers would be of help

Hi Pankaj,

I have also faced the same problem before.

The problem is basically with the printer settings.

Consult with your BASIS team to change the default <b>printer settings </b>to one which you desire so that the truncation of the spool file will be avoided.
