Hi All,
In my internal am having the below values..
Year/Month Emp Type Salary struct Gross.
2014 Base gross 23.00
2015 Base gross 23.00
May-15 Direct gross 23.00
Aug-15 Direct gross 23.00
Aug-15 Base gross 23.00
I want the sorting in only one column Emp Type (ascending) remaining columns are same....if i change emp type means year and month
column also changing. . .
The correct order i want is..
Year/Month Emp Type Salary struct Gross.
2014 Base gross 23.00
2015 Base gross 23.00
May-15 Direct gross 23.00
Aug-15 Base gross 23.00
Aug-15 Direct gross 23.00..
Anyone suggest please how to do this??

Hi,
Convert year/month to the below value.
2014
2015
2015-05
2015-07
2015-07
Now sort internal table by column 1 column 2.

Hi Nitya,
Your need can be achieved by sorting the table based on Year/Month and Emp Type.
But if you do it now, it won't work since your Year\Month contains name of the month, which will reflect the sorting order.
I suggest you to add one more column which is the numerical replica of Year\Month.
For Eg: 1501 - Jan, 1505- May, 1508- Aug,....
And sort the IT based on the new column and and Emp type column, which ll achieve the required output.

And Nitya, you can use this column only for sorting purpose, and while displaying the output hide this new column. use the old Year \ Month do display the output.
