Sending document using Email -Issue

Hi ,

I created a program and trying to send a document (txt file) from my desktop using sap through email to another person. I program worked fine, but I got the express message as " <Message cannot be transferred to node SMTP due to connection error (final)>."

Please help me.

Jalgam,

First of all, go to SBWP and do an analysis on the message, for further information go to SOST transaction and finally talked to teh Basis team.

Second, just one observation, be sure you're executing your program in foreground otherwise it will not work because you're uploading a file from your local PC.

HI,

CHeck in Transaction SCOT , SMTP node is maintained under Internet and settings are done properly by BASIS.
