Sending CSV files to external e-mail

Hi SAP Experts,

I have a requirement to send a CSV file to an external e-mail. Now the csv file is attaching correctly, but the problem is that when I open the attachment. The data is only stored in one column, but when I used GUID_DOWNLOAD the data is correctly placed on a new column per ",". I have been searching the forums with no luck. I also get an error in MS Excel saying "This file is not in a recogniazable format." Thanks in advanced.

Hello,

When sending .CSV and excel files you should use BCS_EXAMPLE_7.

See SAP note 1151258.
