when a pogram is created and needed to be transported to production does

selection text and variants always go with it?

So,if I had developed a Zprogram and saved two variants for the selection-screen,will those varaints won't get transported.

Do I need to create these variants again in the Production by going to shd0?

Hi,

Selection texts are included in the request, so they are transportable.

But varinats will be user-specific, so, they are not transportable.

However it is easy to replicate them in the prod.server also.

Selection texts are included in the request, so they are transportable.selection texts are independent objects in sap.

varinats will be user-specific, so, they are not transportable and also variants created by one user cant be used by another user as they are user specific.

The selection texts will only be transported if they are included in the request that is being transported (not always the case).
