How to change a variable in runtime ?
ex : in coding u have given
parameter cust type kna1-kunnr .
but i want this cust to be displayed as customer .

Hi,
In the menubar goto<b> Goto->Text element->Selection Text</b>
There u can write the text u want to display instead of tht parameter or select-option.Save n activate it n come back n run ur program.

Give the program..
Choose text elements radio button..
Select the selection texts tab..
Then in the cust field give the text Customer..
Activate the texts...

Hi,
in the menu bar select <b>Goto</b> in that under <b>textelements</b> you find <b>selecion texts</b> enter the text customer for cust.

do u need it in runtime or display it more than 8 charecters?
if u need it in more than 8 charecters---
goto> text elements-> selection text
there u can check the dictionary (so that u will get the description from table)
or else u can write the text..

Hi ,
In ur report menu
Goto->Text Elements--->Selection Texts
write :
Cust = Customer.
activate it abd get back. Now u will customer as parameter in ur selection screen

hi ,
In SE38, give your program name , select GO TO in menu bar , select text elements , there you can chnage the name as you want to appear in your screen ..
