Reprocess INBOUND through report

Hi All,

For a specific requirement i need to resend a copy of an IDOC as a new IDOC as well as Reprocess an inbound IDOC through a report program. I have achevied the functionality of reprocessing the inbound IDOC using the the FM IDOC_INBOUND_WRITE_TO_DB. The issue am facing is the new inbound IDOC which is generated is of status ' 64 '-IDoc ready to be transferred to application.

Can anyone let me know how can i process this IDOC so that the status is sucessfull. This requirement needs to be generic for any IDOC of any message type.

Can you show the code to resend the new IDOC?

In the FM IDOC_INBOUND_WRITE_TO_DB, the values of state_of_processing and what hey mean as below:

• 0 => ok, IDoc has status '64' shall be processed immediately

• 1 => IDoc has status '56' or '65' and an error workflow was initiated

• 2 => IDoc has status '60' (syntax error) and an error workflow was

• initiated

• 3 => IDoc has status '64' and according to the inbound partner

• it shall be processed later

Hi Simin,

Although the partner profile is defined and the IDoc has been received, the IDoc cannot be transferred to the application.

You trigger transmission of the IDoc using report RBDAPP01 . To do this, plan a regular job in background processing for this report.

Check the processing mode for the IDoc in the partner profile:

• Processing mode 1: The system transmits the IDoc immediately after receipt in the application.

• Output mode 3: The system collects received IDocs.

IDocs are not intended to be transmitted directly to the application.

Status 64 in the IDoc can normally only occur in conjunction with processing mode 3 and output mode 2.
