process code in inbound process

Hi,

How to assign a my own function module to inbound process code

In we57 once i gave the function module name in identification there in function module drop down box my own function module is not available

How to do this?

Hi Azhar,

Go to Transaction WE42 and create your own Processcode (eg: Zpeoc) and description to it..

Now go to BD67 and assign the process code created above with your Function module.

The function module which i have created is not available in bd67

I have created a function module zazumat in se37

when i went to bd67 to assign my function module to my process code my function module is not there in function module drop down box

HI,

Click new entries and write your FM and Process code..

when you click new entries you need to select your new process code entered and relevant FM under it and save it..

yeah i selected my new process code and when i tried to assign the function module to that my zfunction module is not there?

Do i have to assign another function module over there which function module i have to assign i have created my own Zfunction module

You have to assign your own ZFM to this process code..

Hi Azhar,

One again check the following steps:

1) Define function module characteristics - transaction BD51.

2) Assign IDoc type and message type to function module - transaction WE57.

2) Define process code - transaction WE42.

Hi Azhar,

Goto WE57. , define ur FM name , IDOC type & message type & then goto WE42 define ur prcoess code & there definitely u will get ur FM in the drill down.

Hi Azhar ,

Go to Tcode WEDI and check Development.

Under it check for Inbound Processing Settings. You have to do settings for each tcode, namely BD51, WE57, WE42 in order.
