Problem with BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CREATE

I am using the BAPI BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CREATE for creating Requirements for transaction MD62. I am getting an extra column when i view the requirement. It happens only when the date passed to the BAPI is not the 1st of the month. When the date is 1st of the month the BAPI works perfectly.

Kindly look at the screen shot attached. For months March, April and August, the date provided was not the 1st of the month whereas for the others, it is the 1st of the month.

Kindly let me know if i am making a mistake or the BAPI is supposed to work that way.

It depends upon the value passed to  REQUIREMENTS_SCHEDULE_IN-DATE_TYPE ?

1    Day

2    Week

3    Month

4    Posting period

5    Planning calendar period
