problem while copying structure.

Hi All,

While I;m trying to copy the structure Stru1 to Struc2, after creating transport no I am getting error Copying RS_DD_COPY_OBJ_1 in 0 (Contact person for charge). If I try to display the Struc2, It shows Structure doesn't exit Or User currently editing the Struc2.

Help on this

Hi,

If you are coying custom structure than see whether structure is

activated or not.

Your structure name should start from Z or y

can you explain how you copying structure ,

Hi ankur,

we have naming spaces like "/bmc" and structure name is /bmc/struc1. I want ot rename the struc like /bmc/struc2. In this process first i got error as i mentioned earlier. Now, if i try to copy with the same names as above I am getting error like user (my name) is currently editing /bmc/struc2 (I hope this struc not yet created).

If i try to execut struc2 from SE11. does not exist, check name. is displaying in status bar.

i hope now u can understand my problem

ok...it means you have not created structure that structure is automatically created while doing something

Now you want to copy this structure to another one.

Can you tell me how this structure getting created.

Hi Ankur,

I created that first structure with reference one tabe fields. Requirment is create a Struc(all fields in the tab + one extra field) as per the table and delete the DB table and change the stru name as that table name. In this process i am gitting this prob.

if you creating structure than name should start from z or y but in your case name starting with '/' ....may i have the name of table through which you are taking fields.

if there is no error and structure is activated than it should copy ...but name should start from Z and Y.
