IF BKPF-WAERS NE *BKPF-WAERS.
IF NOT RF140-WAERS IS INITIAL.
*RF140-WAERS = *BKPF-WAERS.
ENDIF.

*RF140-WAERS2 = *BKPF-WAERS.
ENDIF.
IF NOT RF140-WAERS3 IS INITIAL.
*RF140-WAERS3 = *BKPF-WAERS.

what does This * means with BKPF-WAERS.
Please give one simple program.

Fields starting with the astrick (*) contains the values from the screen.
E.g. in FB01, When you enter the currency it stores in *BKPF-WAERS and later it will be moved to the BKPF-WAERS in the further code.
Basically, you will find this kind of fields use in the standard programs.

*BKPF is a kind of work area , and it acts as a mirror.
The people who coded used *BKPF instead of creating a work area.
So the realation is some thing like work area of BKPF
