need help about function module

hi ,i have a question about the function module ,please do me a favor.thanks in advanced.

in tcode se80,right click on the function group name ,in the menu choose 'Other Functions' - 'Write Transport Entry' ,now what's the 'Write Transport Entry' mean? thanks

Hello,

This options allows you to create a transport request for the complete function group (not for individual function modules).

When you use it you will be prompted to enter a description for your transport, recording of the function group in the transport goes automatically.

Afterwards you can release the transport and import it in other systems.

This option is often used to transport complete function groups and to allign them between different SAP systems (DEV-QA-PRD).
