Hello!

Does somebody know if it's possible adding a new customer field to table T023, material group?

The customer wants to add a flag to tell the difference between some of the material groups, and I don't know if there is other way to implement this instead adding a new filed in that table...

Hi ,

why dont you use append structure in se11 in that table.

can you explain about the flag a bit more, please?

in my experience it is common that differentiations between branches of the same material group are usually done using the nomenclature ...

Why not use one of the MG1 - MG5 fields to further sub-divide your products or just use another series of codes or range of values within a series? Your custom flag isn't going to be visible anywhere except in the table browser unless you make additional changes.
