Making changes to Standard data elements

HI,

I have to change the "Change Document" indicator in many data elements in SAP ECC. This indicator is available under further characteristics. I have the access keys from SSCR but the problem is the data elements stays greyed out. I have all the necessary authorizations. SU53 dump is also showing no authorization issues. Do I need to change Object Directory Entry to make the changes possible.

Hi Hassam,

Try this path to change them:

Development -> Other tools -> Change documents under abap workbench in sap easy access screen

or try the transaction: SCDO

Can you elaborate a little further how can I use SCDO to change a data element? I think the path that you have mentioned is used for change document.
